Arrow Financial complaint
Arrow Financial has developed a shell company for thier continued deceipt, it is FMS of Schaumburg, Ill with Jim Pernell, the manager being a former manager of Arrow. I am a victim of the first Premier bank scam. Jim Pernell is a proffessional scam artist and is continuing to pursue innocent victims. FMS has continued Arrow Financials business practices of appearing as a ligitimate company, but in realiity, is nothing but a sham. I have contacted the Schaumburg, Ill Police Dept. in an attempt to shut them down. If you have a credit report with First Priemier, Arrow Finc or FMS, call your Credit reporting agency now.

It is too connected to Arrow - an agent at FMS told me that today. She said "we collect for Arrow."

And FMS shot themselves in the foot today. I have something listed on my credit report by Arrow. When I call Arrow, they tell me the account is being collected by FMS.

Well, I was perfectly happy NOT to call Arrow or FMS, but my I need to take out a PLUS loan so my daughter can go to college this year. Since this Arrow account is on my credit, Sallie Mae told me if I can set up payment arrangements on it and get them to fax me something indicating that we have made payment arrangements, they can approve the Plus loan.

It is my understanding the Sallie Mae and Arrow are actually affliated. So I was kind of suprised when I called and made arrangements to pay the entire debt in monthly installments (even though FMS had sent me letters telling me they would settle for much LESS, I was going to pay the full amount, just in payments). So they accepted the payment plan I offered. Then I asked if they could fax me confirmation that we had set up a payment agreement so that I could show that to Sallie Mae and they said NO, that's against their policy. WTF?

I did tell them that I would not give them my checking acct # or debit card #, but would send in monthly payments, and they accepted that (although they obviously would have preferred to have my bank acct # - uh, I don't think so...). But they can't send me confirmation of our agreement.

Sooo....I told them no fax, no payments. I was making a good faith effort to pay off this entire debt even though they had said they'd settle for a much smaller amount. They said they don't know if I'll make the payments or not so they can't send me a fax saying we talked and made payment arrangements. :roll

Funny, I owe state taxes in an amount 10 times what I owe FMS/Arrow, and I already have payment arrangements with them, and I called the agent handling my account, told her we need a parent loan and needed to get confirmation that we have a payment agreement to pay our taxes so the loan will be approved, and within 5 minutes she faxed me something that acknowledged we hade a payment agreement.

FMS/Arrow can kiss my ***. I'll let the stupid account stay on my credit report. I was perfectly willing to pay the full amount, but their stupidity cost them. All they had to do is fax me a letter saying that I called and we had set up payment arrangements for X amount a month for X months to pay off the balance, and that's against there policy. Okaaaay. Then no need for me to pay you.

Nope, we don't. If someone at FMS used to work for us, there's nothing we can do about that, but FMS is not a parent company, shell company, sister company, or in any way connected to Arrow.
